After working with transportation giant Flixbus, Roni Alvandi is taking the wheel of his own company.

The former Senior Manager Regional Operations & Insurance for Flixbus has acquired AmericanStar Tours, based in Pismo Beach, California.

Alvandi comes to his new ownership role with a wealth of experience in the transportation and travel industry. He says he successfully managed and contributed to the growth of Flixbus in various key markets.

He’s betting on his vision and leadership skills taking AmericanStar Tours to new heights.

“I’m thrilled about this new era for AmericanStar Tours,” said Alvandi. “It’s an opportunity to enhance travel options for individuals and groups across California. We’re committed to building upon the strong foundation of AmericanStar Tours and introducing innovative solutions that cater to the evolving needs of modern travelers.”

The acquisition includes a fleet of more than 45 vehicles, including 22 motorcoaches and 8 school buses. AmericanStar Tours was established by Bob and Trudy Dockerty in 1991.
